Concentrated
Viewing Exposure or CVE for short is the situation where a marketing
campaign is using a blended method of advertising utilizing
wireless technology in a given DMA to increase the likelihood
of the consumer seeing and remembering the advertisement.
People may say there is nothing special about CVE and that
it is just an integrated marketing campaign but the secret
is not in how many mediums are used but how those medium’s
work with one another. The reality of advertising today
is that consumers tune it out. There are limitations
to what can be accomplished with traditional advertising. That
is why there is so much talk about CPM and other acronyms in
the media business. People know it costs money to reach
the consumer. But what if there was a way to increase
the effectiveness of integrated marketing. You do that
by adding CVE. RoadRage Media grades CVE on five levels. |
|
|
 |
|
|
| |
 |
Level
1: Billboards, transits, and other traditional
outdoor. |
 |
Level
2: Level
1, plus Truckside advertising, and mobile billboards |
 |
Level
3: Level
1 & 2 plus the use of electronic kiosks that display
pod casts and ads. |
 |
Level
4: Levels
1, 2, and 3 plus the use of RFID or comparable wireless
technology to increase the frequency of ads on the kiosks
displays when the advertiser’s truckside ads and
transit ads are near by. |
 |
Level
5: Levels
1-4 + PDA communication to individuals who want to be advertised
to. You see a sample of this today with ESPN mobile
phones, etc, eventually tying in online banner ads as well
on the computer screens of individuals in the area of the
truckside ads route and location. |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
| |
| In each of the above
levels you can see an increase in how an effective marketing
campaign can be set in to motion. By leveraging all or
some of the above medium’s an advertiser’s reach
can expand. And by utilizing technology with outdoor
medium’s you create CVE. Imagine your potential
customer purchasing something in the market or a store and
seeing an ad and then when they walk out the door they see
a truckside ad by the same advertiser reinforcing the brand
or offer. Or better yet reverse that scenario by them
seeing the truckside ad and then seeing the ad again in the
store before making their buying decision of the product just
advertised. Presently levels 4 and 5 are in the research & development
stage but they’ll be coming sooner than you think and
RoadRage Media will bring them to you! |
